Silver bearing coppers offer elevated mechanical strength, increased electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as a higher resistance to heat and corrosion.
Although silver bearing copper only has a machinability rating of 20%, the properties and characteristics of the metal mean it is a versatile product and suitable for a plethora of applications, from conductors and busbars, trolley wires and cable strips, to radiator and electrical motor parts.
